The popular low cost airline easyJet has revealed three new routes that will connect Malaga and in the UK during the summer of 2022. It will also launch two brand-new planes adding the number of planes in the Andalucia Airport to five.
Three new flights that operate from the base of easyJet in Malaga which opened in June will connect Malaga with London Southend, Birmingham and Edinburgh which will increase the number of routes available starting from Malaga to seventeen.
The general director for the company, Javier Gandara, has stated that demand remains up despite the advent from the Omicron variant. Gandara also stated that easyJet anticipates that in mid-April 2022 the capacity will have returned to levels of 2019.
Eight new routes to Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Menorca were confirmed by easyJet and they currently operate seventeen planes out of Spain which is the increase of 50% in their fleet as when compared to prior to the outbreak.
